Building Bridges with Many World's
Vision:
Creating a world for marginalized communities by building bridges with many worlds
Mission:
A marginalized community that lives with dignity in an environment free from violence and discrimination, and contributes as an equal partner in development. And believe in full strength and creating opportunities for growth and development in a safe and protective environment.
Be the Change for One Adolescent Girls, and Women's Life
Interactions become a barrier for them to become part of mainstream education. While working with adolescent girls, Tashi realized that most of the time adolescent girls are concerned about equality, health, well-being, and quality education because to sustain them in mainstream society, Tashi opened a platform to talk about their rights and connect with the world. Tashi built bridges to further their journey towards social development.

Dakini Adolescent Leadership Program

DAKINI is a powerful collective of adolescent girls who challenge and expand the way we understand womanhood. They create relationships that reveal the deeper nature and livedrealities of women’s lives.
Develop fond. Literacy and Numeracy

Tashi identifies and trains local women and girls who have completed class 12 to become paid volunteers to impart free training to students in classes 5 to 7.

Stories of Dakini's
LAKSHEETA is now preparing for a government exam. This is the first time she has been associated with the Dakini programme. She first learnt about gender roles in society. Through the Dakini leadership programme, she gained new knowledge and started understanding her role in society. She shared her experience with a group about gender, women’s laws and rights, and career opportunities. For the past three years, she has been associated with TASHI to build her career. She feels independent in making decisions about her life. According to her, “Education is the main source of empowerment”.
